The Waukesha plant was expanded in 2001 to meet industry requirements for both medium-power and large-power designs. The 300,000 sq. ft. expansion provides increased manufacturing space, crane capacity, vapor phase dry-out systems, and state-of-the-art testing capabilities. The new Waukesha plant is recognized as one of the most modern transformer manufacturing facilities in the world and is well equipped to respond to customer needs.

The quality and reliability built into every large-power unit is the result of over thirty years experience in the design and production of power transformers for utility and industrial applications. All Waukesha ® transformers are designed, manufactured and tested in accordance with the latest standards of IEEE, ANSI, NEMA and quality standards of ANSI/ASQC 9001 and ISO 9001:2000.
