(December 10, 2002) Waukesha Electric Systems, through its subsidiary, P.S.D., Inc. in Canton, OH, has announced a major initiative to provide fully engineered solutions - from collector systems to the transmission interconnection - for wind projects throughout North America. Waukesha Wind Energy has its foundations in Waukesha Electric Systems' and PSD's more than 20 years of experience in renewable wind energy projects, providing transformers, substations, transmission lines, collector systems and power delivery solutions.
Through its recent acquisitions and staff expansion, the company now offers broader capabilities. Today, the Waukesha EPC team offers engineering, procurement and construction services for wind parks, utilities and industrial customers.
