Canton, OH (October 1, 2007) – Philip Jacobs recently joined the Power Systems Development unit of Waukesha Electric Systems in the role of Business Development Manager. Philip's responsibilities include the expansion of PSD's business opportunities with clients and manufacturers' representatives in his assigned states, primarily in the Southeast.

Philip brings to PSD over 20 years of experience in business development, sales and marketing. He worked the last seven years in power conditioning and emergency generation for a large Southeast utility and an independent standby power service provider. PSD plans to employ all of Philip's background in market strategy, prospecting, account management and negotiating. He joins PSD's Sales and Marketing department and reports to Mark Kruger, PSD's president and general manager.
