Waukesha Plant

Waukesha Electric Systems' $20 million expansion project added approximately 100,000 square feet of manufacturing space to the original facility, which opened in 1971. The total plant now has nearly 300,000 square feet of manufacturing and testing space and is one of the most modern transformer manufacturing facilities in the world. Products manufactured here include power transformers through 200 MVA (GSU) and 300 MVA (auto-transformers).

Waukesha Electric Systems' 225,000 square foot Goldsboro, North Carolina, transformer manufacturing plant contains advanced manufacturing and computerized scheduling systems that enable production of medium-power transformers to match world-class standards. The engineering team, using 3-D computer-aided design tools, develops innovative designs that meet changing utility and industrial product needs.

Dallas Plant	Waukesha Electric Systems' High Voltage Supply division in Dallas, Texas, operates a modern 33,000 square foot manufacturing and testing facility. Here, HVS provides design, re-engineering and conversion of OEM load tap changers, as well as precision circuit breaker components and parts to fit most major transformer brands.
